the layover/laydown

The kids take a pretend nap... killing off 20 seconds of the six hour layover in MIA.  Six hours in Miami airport like a miniature version of Snowden's sojourn except everything was in English and there was little threat of being extradited for treason.  It actually went by pretty quickly since terminal transit shuttles, escalators, and whatever you call those big golf carts that pick up people who need help walking (or with kids) are more compelling than Space Mountain at Disney World to these kids.  In any case, it went by fine and we landed on the cleared brushland that passes as a landing strip in North Eleuthera.  Mwah!

Strike a pose.

Charlie goes fetal in the airport.  If you're wondering why he's in pull ups instead of shorts, well, it turns out that he isn't great at drinking out of a cup during turbulence on an airplane.

Schuyler obeys the law and signs her landing document into Eleuthera, Bahamas.  We knew all those school fees would amount to something!
