The Adventures of Schuyler and Charlie

good morning

Initially, we were scared.  Not scared really... more hesitant about making sure the kids did not wreak too much havoc on the lovely boat and/or upset our hosts.  So the first night or two, we had boys and girls cabins to make putting the kids down easier:  They could lull off to sleep in separate beds to avoid them riling each other up.  When they would awaken, we (really me) were paranoid about the potential damage and/or chaos they would cause on the boat and those on it who were used to more sedentary and quiet guests.   Everyone adjusted in time.  We grew more confident that the world was not going to end if the kids ran amok occasionally and the others on board grew accustomed the miniature duo always on hand to make life more, shall we say, interesting.  We ended up putting them in the same bed to go to sleep which, after a few false starts, worked out fine (and during "quiet time" Schuyler was sooo excited to rest in the top bunk to watch a couple of cartoons).  And we all finally found our groove and relaxed into true vacation mode (thanks for putting up with that adjustment period, Kim and Wardy Baby!).
