So we headed out to the town beach, slathered in sunblock and ready for a swim and some playtime.  We slid down slides and climbed the playground over and over and then.... BOOM!  THUNDER!  A magnificent and gorgeous summer storm intruded with that low pressure humidity that marks a summer tempest.  Unfortunately, that also means the beach is closed.  So we piled two slightly terrified kids back in the car and headed home with a belly full of strawberries to watch the lightning from safer quarters.
