So the room set up is this:  Schuyler and Mama shared a room and a bed (Schuyler got a headstart on sleep at around 7pm).  And, due to Charlie's early rising proclivities (which were not as dire as predicted), Papa slept in the upper bunk ("the shelf") while Charlie slept in the lower full size bed with a rail.  It was kind of cool - boys and girls got to spend time together.
