Mommeeee in Hafax

So Mummy is in Halifax dealing with work issues just in time for the clocks to turn back for daylight savings, meaning the kids' bodies think it's six o'clock when their dad wants them to go to bed at 7.  All was well for the first bed time but then the kids were up a lot during the night.   In the morning, the kids wanted French Toast.  On a school day.  When we were late.  But their Mean Daddy wouldn't do it with poor excuses like "I could get fired if I'm late".  Charlie took the news particularly badly, sobbing woefully for his "Mommmeeeee".  I explained repeatedly that she was in Halifax but he wouldn't stop.  The thing that made him finally stop was when i suggested to him that we take a photo of him and send it to his Mummy (hence the photo above, tears still visible rolling down his chubby red cheeks.
