merry christmas!

This kind of felt like Schuyler's first Christmas because she is so much more of a person. In fact, in keeping with cliché #456 of parenting, it is simply miraculous to witness the soul of the baby grow into an aware, cognizant, tiny human with language, thoughts, opinions (!) and interests. To watch her vocabulary and comprehension lock into place and grow each day is mind blowing.

A card from Pop Pop & Carol was just as much fun to open as any present for our little cub... her reading of the card consisted of more of a taste test than a vocabulary test but still we live and learn.
