Upon hearing that friends of hers have been sent to Bermuda for resettlement from the real Guantanamo. At least tourism arrivals will be up this month!
[Side note:] We came home tonight to find that 75% of the island's power was out, including our house, and came to realise just how much water a baby takes up each day. Try feeding a 13 month old dinner and having no water to clean up. It's a challenge. It is also a beautiful remind of how nice real quietude is. Fortunately, we got some ice to put in the breast milk freezer so we didn't lose any of that and now (at 9pm) the power has come back on and all is well.
