Schuyler's Dad, like any sane Bermudian, he sees fit to stay on dry land until such time as the water reaches about 90 degrees. However, as luck would have it, today was a particularly scorching, sticky humid day and he would have loved to have been the one stopping the little bear from drinking up all the chlorine but alas the toe must stay dry for another couple of days (not to mention, it is supposed to be immobile). Darn toe! Being a children's birthday party, he also got to experience what happens when the birthday girl herself takes an interest in the white bandage around the toe and whacks it with her petite, cute and painful hands.
