So, since about early March, the kids have decided that it's swimming weather. Their parents vigorously disagree! Nothing is a greater incentive to them to finish chores and eat their dinner than the promise of "dips in the pool" before bath time. This is greeted with incredible fanfare and involved their dad literally dipping them in the pool from the poolside. Schuyler's also become accomplished enough to swim underwater for about six feet around the stairs which is encouraging. Can't wait until it's truly summer and we can all leap in!
