Methinks Charlie enjoyed the candy aspect of Hallowe'en.

Cookie Monster got what was coming to him.

So the Davis's sent out a last minute invite to an impromptu Hallowe'en Party.  My idea of impromptu parties is to give everyone access to the grill and the cooler and that's it.  Their idea of impromptu involves half a dozen games for the children to play, a sumptuous spread of holiday food and goodies, and a bevy of friends to share the joy.  This was one of those great parties where both the kids and adults had an equally good time.  Of course, when Dad is dressed as Clark Kent/Superman, he gets worried he might be called away to fight crime.  Fortunately, no texts from needy citizens, so he was able to just enjoy the evening.
