So the first of many new beginnings: Charlie was transferred from Baby Jail 1 to cellblock C of Baby Jail 2. Baby Jail 2 is just a block from Papa's work which means he can drop off and pick up his newest cub.
Papa dropped him off today and plopped him on the floor as Ms Shea read to him and the other tiny beings and he didn't even turn back to say goodbye. He just started rocking the song they were singing. Picking him up, I found him sitting in one of the teacher's lap (usually a sign of The Fussy One). But nope. He was fine. Didn't cry all day. He was "the easiest one of the bunch" according to Ms Tina. He even slept well.
All that worry for nothing.
