7am - Schuyler awakens daddy by banging her milk cup repeatedly on a chair. Her explanation:"I'm banging! I need to bang". She also informed me that she needn't return to her bed for it was "daytime". Explaining the concept of dawn stretched the limits of daddy's tired brain and his French vocabulary.
Shortly thereafter (and clearly by my daughters design) everyone else is up.
9ish - dad strollers Charlie around for an hour while Schuyler and nan, gramps and mama go to the beach where great fun was had.
