Dad had a lot of things to carry downstairs and, in a spurt of male thinking, he thought it would be smart to put one of his most precious things in a flimsy laundry basket and carry it downstairs with a brain running on three hours sleep. Fortunately, the laptop made it down safely (as did the other items).
