"De plane! De plane! De kite, bye!"
Our Good Friday was condensed into about 45 minutes.... we arrived at the Botanical Gardens, got a kite up, met up with friends, lost a kite in the trees and then when other friends arrived, the heavens opened up - all in the course of a typical Good Friday. On the plus side, all the friends we were meeting all piled into cars and went back to our house for some hot cross buns (thank you, Auntie Ardleigh!) which was just as much fun.
Good Friday is a holiday here in Bermuda traditionally celebrated, in part, by flying a kite.
