bye bye gummy bear

the teeth are coming! or, at least, a tooth is coming...

OK. So we've been thinking that our little cub has been teething for about 8 out of her 9 months on the planet but today she (finally) proved us right. I never thought i'd be so excited about a tooth but it just one of those small moments that reminds you that there is a script for this little human body and we're forever moving on to the next scene - read or not. I also never thought i would be sad that she was getting teeth but there's a part of us that will miss that gummy smile a lot. That gummy smile has gotten us through some tough days. I'm sure a cute little cartoon smile with a couple of teeth is pretty cute too.
