Ward and Kim (and Amy) were very generous with their babysitting offers which allowed us to do all those couply things we'd missed, such as ignoring each other while we read our own books, ride down the lazy river and enable jonathan's rampant gambling habit (for the record he won two months worth of Day Care playing blackjack). Now that we are anchored to this beautiful baby, and when we cannot bribe babysitters with love, guilt or money, we've had to forge new ways to entertain ourselves without the privacy and downtime we cherished. Atlantis turned out to be pretty darn good for this. It turns out we all love watching big sea creatures - especially ones which would ordinarily have the capacity to make you their dessert. We toured through Atlantis and saw a thousand examples of child rearing that we hope to avoid (but to which we will inevitably fall prey). One toddler gave his Mum the finger. Unless Schuyler's making millions as a child star (and sharing it with her parent-managers), she's not getting away with that one.
