A Father-Daughter ride down the lazy river... to which she was surprisingly amenable for about ten minutes and then become vocally expressive of her desire to end the lazy ride.

Schuyler is... um... "opinionated"... perhaps "independent" might be a better word: she thinks she can swim already and is constantly trying to leap out of our arms in some strange self-waterboarding technique. Most of the time, our "swims" turn into a frantic session to keep her from drowning herself while she gets pissed off at us for preventing said drowning (or "swimming" as i'm sure she sees it).

You can't really see it here, but Schuyler REALLY had the blues and was a cranky little baby during her photo shoot.

and it feels so good. We didn't realise how much we missed the little bear until we arrived at the boat and the kid was nowhere to be found. It seems her grandmother had taken her for a walk (aka "kidnapping") and so we paced anxiously until she arrived back safe and sound. Man, it was good to see you... oh, it was nice to see the rest of the family as well!

Schuyler's parents were sad to leave their carefree life in Sweden behind but excited to get back to Schuyler and a land where they could pronounce the words.

Meanwhile, in the Bahamas, a naked Schuyler gets a good cleaning in the bar sink and learns the imprudent skill of turning on the water by herself... not great when you are on a limited H20 supply.

The cousins bond some more over crystalline waters and hopefully don't get too used to this lifestyle before they return to their real lives. Savour every moment, little ones.

Mitchell and Walker acquire some life skills

Surrounded by familiar faces and well-fed, Schuyler doesn't realise that her parents are in a country where the sun sets at eleven p.m. and rises at, oh, about 3am. Sweden is treating them well and they've never felt so brunette in all their lives. If you like crayfish, octopus, cheese and cured meats, Sweden is a comestible goldmine!

Meanwhile, Mitchell and Walker get some practice shoving food into Schuyler in much the same way that their uncle jonathan did with them at their age (yes, i've gotten to the stage where i can look at a teenager and say 'i used to change your diapers').
