Yes, we finally did it. Schuyler got a professional haircut by a friend. She no longer looks like a homeless scamp from a Dickens novel, well, at least her hair doesn't. Given her love of scissors we were apprehensive that she'd start chopping at her own hair but so far so good. She hasn't tried to trim Charlie's fuzzy chick wisps yet either.

These kids may be Australian after all. Schuyler demanded we repeat this Rolf Harris classic six times while we all danced. The fun does not end.

Schuyler loves going to Trystan's house for a playdate. She loves it even more when she gets to play with his dad's drums.

Things finally calmed down enough to make our annual Christmas cookies. Unfazed by our tardiness Schuyler declared it DeeDee's birthday and initiated Party Preparations.

Ah, back to the relative warmth of Bermuda! Schuyler welcomed the opportunity to wear her dress up clothes outside. Charlie welcomed the opportunity to simply cry outside.

We arrive home to open even more presents. The kids are really going to think that there are 12 days of Christmas presents. Dream on!

The kids really enjoyed the capital of Vermont. Now its time to head home to our house to check out the damage.

Schuyler had been studying her Frosty the Snowman book (circa 1952) eagerly for weeks so we were keeping our fingers crossed for snow. After days of powdery, snowman-inappropriate snow Gramps finally made the call that it was Frosty time. Schuyler was so thrilled.
