shopping & playing

This was a scary moment: we went into this little clothing store jam packed with racks of women's clothing and we let the little bear run around. Somehow, in amongst all the grown up stuff, she finds and brings to her daddy a little colourful top for a toddler - possibly the only thing her size in the store. This augurs badly. Because Daddy dutifully made the purchase. What have we done?

pink sands

Man, did this girl ever LOVE riding in the golf cart (a passion inherited from her mother). She would wave her arms at people and sing along with us when we sang the La la la song from Sesame Street ("rah rah rah" was her version - she's learning Chinese).

I will have the grilled cheese please. Easy on the butter - i'm watching my figure.

...and my Dad will have a margarita.

post-siesta

We're a family. It's strange. It's odd. But it's true. It feels good.

Sometimes, clothes are such a hassle.

going out to lunch

Boy, is it hot out here. Schuyler takes advantage of the European flavour of sunbathing on Harbour island. She was surprisingly patient during these meals... so long as she had a cup of water and a spoon to play with and a grilled cheese sandwich to harden those young arteries, she was pretty content. Which is turn made her parents content. She also dug the fact that this restaurant had wild chickens wandering around (and also chicken dishes on the menu which we avoided).

Harbour Island is *almost* as beautiful as Bermuda and not nearly as beautiful as my girls.
