Schuyler shows Grandma all of her favourite things at the Bermuda Aquarium and Zoo. Schuyler is no longer afraid of the wandering peacocks but has a new fear of the flamingos so Grandma didn't get to see those stinky pinks.

wheeeee
Our budding gymnast cannot get enough of the playground. So much so that she tries to recreate it in our bathroom at home. She swings from the towel rack like she is training for a flying trapeze act. Perhaps she takes after her Aunt Lisa and will join a circus in a couple of years.
Charlie is content for now to glide high in the baby swing.

loves his toys
Charlie really loves his toys. Schuyler, at this age, was somewhat indifferent to the piles of multi-coloured plastic we thrust in her face. Charlie, however, considers anything within his reach to be very interesting and worthy of further investigation. Especially if said item is Dad's coke or Mum's lip balm. Watch out!

mother's day card
Dear Kids: This is your Dad here. I just want you to know how great a mum your mother is. You will never know the amount of energy, love and dear devotion she puts into being your mama. She is constantly thinking of you - what do you need to eat or wear? why we should send you to a certain school? how to raise you to be confident, optimistic, diligent, happy little souls. how to fill your weekend with opportunity and fun. how to speak so people listen and listen so people speak. there will be times (especially in the teenage years) where you may be angry with us or disagree with our choices or think we don't care but I've been watching you and your mother learn this world together since you drew your first breath and I can tell you that her heart is now built from pieces of you, her world is bigger and brighter because you are here, and every day she thinks about how to make your lives better.

good morning!
Schuyler hosted her dolls at a picnic while Charlie hosted some buddies on his tray. No, he is not having a meal; he is wearing a waterproof bib because he may even drool more than his older sister did. Is there a world record for that?

water conservation
After a recent misadventure with low water supply (Bermuda's rainfall is about 8" less than average YTD) and pump failure we have renewed our efforts to conserve water. Hence the bath sharing...
I'm pretty sure this is when we told Schuyler to stop touching Charlie's...private region.
Holy contrast batman!
little baby...
this is how the idea for the "Big Gulp" was created
